• Each piece of glass is cut to size and protects the specimen from 50% of UV rays.
• The frame is 10x10 inches (27x27 cm) black shadowbox and can be hung on a wall or stand on a shelf.

Fun Facts about the Blue Mountain Swallowtail

• Papilio ulysses butterflies can be found in Australia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands
• Male Blue Mountain Swallowtails are known to be highly attracted to the color blue, mistaking blue objects for females.
• Named after Ulysses (Odysseus), the king of Ithaka from greek mythology, who was the hero in Homer's Odyssey and Iliad. 
• The blue is a structural colour and the deep black parts are blacker than black (physics)
